Billy is quite tall, his hair was very choppy, not long, but you could not exactly call it short either, it was very rock and roll hair ( lol). He was wearing black jeans and a yellow t-shirt with a denim jacket if I remember right.
We met at a convention called Collectormania 9, in Milton Keynes England, Collectormania and they were having a Lost Boys reunion. They were in a quiet area, and he and Brooke McCarter were playing around having fun and chatting with people, posing for photos -- that kind of thing.
I was in my wheelchair and my friend Lee wanted all the lost boys autographs, so as he was pushing I went too. He got his autograph and we posed for a photo. I was talking to Brooke and Lee to Billy. Then Billy came over to me and touched my hand crouching to my level and pointed to my MS bracelet., (It's those plastic ones for the charity).
He said "Is it MS then?" I said yes and told him about how it affected me, he started telling me about his friend in Alaska who has it. They had worked together on a film and remained close. He said they became closer after he was diagnosed, and told me about a friend in LA with it also. We discussed how the humidity probably makes her symptoms worse compared to Alaska. He told me to take care and gave me a huge long hug, and we left the area to get lunch.
I could not stop saying how lovely he was, so I went back to his table to get his autograph, He had gone out for a smoke, and I took a photo of Brooke through the glass before spotting me. He pointed and came straight back in. He signed a lost boys photo with 'To Beverley, Peace and love to you, Billy Wirth', and drew a picture. I then got another huge hug from him, and he told me about his website.
