SYNOPSIS - Action/thriller/horror The treasure of the Tumacacori. For one hundred years the Spanish tore raw gold from the heart of the Guachapa Mountains. Five mines deep in the earth that enslaved ten thousand native Hohokoham Indians and twenty-five hundred labor laden burros. A line of man and beast that snaked for more than two hundred miles across the desert to a secret place of hiding.And seven Jesuit priests where vowed to protect the gold until the Spanish came to remove the treasure and take the wealth to another place. But the Spanish never returned, and as the priests aged and died, they were mummified and placed in pine coffins with the gold to protect it for all eternity. For over four hundred years no one came to this place.
Until the great migration West when the new settlers opened up the rugged frontier. A small town was built over the ancient treasure site, and the men mined and looked for riches. When they stumbled upon the Spanish treasure, they awoke the seven Jesuit priests from their sleep, and the seven mummies sought revenge for those that had disturbed the treasure. They killed the entire people of the town and placed them into a state of purgatory, the walking dead now cursed to protect the treasure of the Tumacacori.....
And now, one hundred years later, six misfit convicts try to escape across the sun scorched desert in search of freedom, where they find an Apache holy man who tells them of the lost wealth. More gold than ten men can spend in ten life times. Rock, their leader, finds a gold medallion covered with unknown symbols.
The group stumbles upon the old frontier town at dusk, and Travis, the street wise loner, must partner together with Rock to defeat the wicked town sheriff, Drake, forced to protect the lost treasure. Fleeing for their lives, the group cannot escape the ghost town at night, now a huge maze of empty buildings and endless roof tops. Travis forms a friendship with Lacy, Rock's relunctant hostage, but not before Rock and the others learn of the power of the seventh medallion found in the desert- the key to the lost treasure of Tumacacori.
Drake seeks the return of the gold medallion taken years earlier from the treasure site. Bringing the seven symbols of the seven medallions together will release him from the curse of the Jesuit priests. The sheriff and his ghoulish deputies will stop at nothing to keep Rock, Travis, and Lacy from finding the lost treasure of the Tumacacori and discovering the secret of the seven mummies
